The brief

More time outside, a clear route through the garden and planting that changes across the whole year.

What we did

The old brick walls were the best thing on site, so we let them hold the garden. A gravel court replaced tired lawn, and a single bench now sits where the evening light lands.

Repeated groups of grasses bring rhythm; burnet and euphorbia thread through them. We return each spring to thin, divide and adjust.

A place to pause
